Right when the SAG-AFTRA strike started a few weeks ago, Iger was one of the first big names from the main studios and streaming companies that broke silence on the matter, claiming that both actors and writers were not “being realistic” while striking under the current crisis the industry is going through.

Now one of the stars from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tatiana Maslany, has shared her thoughts on Iger’s comments while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter on the picket line:

“I think he’s completely out of touch. He’s completely out of touch with the workers who make his shows happen, who make people watch these shows, who bring viewers to him and him money. Having worked on a Disney show, I know where people fall through the cracks and where people are taken advantage of and it’s outrageous the amount of wealth that is not shared with the people who actually make the show. That’s crew, cast, writers.”

Maslany joined the MCU back in 2022 to play Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk. And although the show was not so well received, fans are happy with the Orphan Black star being part of the franchise.

Although She-Hulk is far from being the most successful show from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there’s no doubt that Jennifer will return at some point in the future of the franchise. Tatiana Maslany may have no idea when the character will return, but there are a few projects where she could have at least a small participation.

The most obvious option would be Daredevil: Born Again, since it is set in the same city, and Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock had a small role in the series starring Maslany. Since Murdock and Walters already have a relationship and both characters have similar interests, being both lawyers, it wouldn’t be crazy for the actress to reprise her role in the upcoming show. Her presence, however, hasn’t been confirmed and the production of the series is currently on paused because of the strikes.

She-Hulk could also join the Avengers and the rest of the MCU heroes in one of the upcoming crossover films, Avengers: The Kand Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, although the tone of the series and the humor that characterized the character is very different from any other project from the franchise. Deadpool seems to be the only other character that could walk on a similar line, so putting Ryan Reynolds and Tatiana Maslany together on an MCU project would be another good option for She-Hulk to return.

For now, with so many productions halted and movies and series being delayed due to the strikes, is hard to imagine when and how the character will return, but there are plenty of projects to be announced that could include her.
