“Felicidade para Principiantes” tem drama, romance e comédia. Ele segue a vida de Helen Carpenter (Kemper), 32 anos, que, um ano após se divorciar, segue conselho de seu irmão mais novo e vai fazer um curso de sobrevivência na selva. Na floresta, ela passa por etapas de autodesenvolvimento mescladas com situações cômicas e inusitadas.

Elenco

O elenco de “Felicidade para Principiantes” traz, além da ex-atriz de “The Office”, como maior destaque, Luke Grimes, que ficou famoso por participar de “Yellowstone”, do Paramount+.

Outros nomes do longa, são Blythe Danner, Gus Birney, Ben Cook, Esteban Benito, Shayvawn Webster, Julia Shiplett, Alexander Koch, entre outros. Outra figura conhecida é Nico Santos, que está no elenco de “Superstore”.

Crítica

Apesar de estar forte na Netflix, a reação de críticos e espectadores tem sido razoável. No IMDb, a nota do longa é de 6,1 (após 3,5 mil avaliações). No Rotten Tomatoes, somente 29% dos críticos o aprovam, enquanto 57% dos espectadores gostaram.

Vale ressaltar, porém, que trata-se de filme recém-lançado. Ou seja, essas avaliações podem mudar para melhor – ou para (ainda) pior. Só o tempo dirá.
